  • This Digital Marketing Micro-credential will give you the practical skills to make the most of the platforms and tools you need to implement and execute  an effective digital marketing plan.

  • During this course, you’ll learn the principles of digital marketing and develop practical skills using online tools and platforms. Reduce costs by bringing your digital marketing in-house to more rapidly implement your online strategy.

  • You’ll start by clearly defining your market and identifying their media consumption trends. You’ll develop your unique selling proposition and create a plan to effectively communicate your brand and message online.

  • You’ll identify social media platforms and content that reaches your target audience. You’ll learn how to design and implement effective email campaigns. Explore advertising platforms and plan targeted campaigns, learning when and how to use SEO, SEM, Email marketing, social custom audiences and re targeting.

  • You’ll be able use a range of engagement measures to monitor and report on outcomes and goal achievements of your online campaigns.


Live Online Classes: Live online classes are a friendly and supportive alternative to watching video tutorials – you’re able to ask questions and receive answers from an experienced Graphic Designer in real time. Your mentor will share their screen, demonstrating professional tools and techniques, then support you as you follow along, completing activities during class time.

Enrolment Requirements
Please see below on the course entry requirements and other information before enrolling. Upon application, we will request the following information and documentation before you start the course.

  • Completed Enrolment Form - Upon application we will ask you to complete an enrolment form.

  • Verified Form of ID - We require certified copies of your identity and residency documentation. This can be a valid passport or birth certificate.

  • Proof of NZ Residency or Citizenship - If not stated on your passport of birth certificate, you will also need to provide proof of citizenship/residency in New Zealand if applying as a domestic student. 

  • International Students - Please contact us directly here to finalise enrolment and payment opposed to applying online. This micro-credential is open to individuals living or residing in New Zealand only.


Learners will be eligible to enter this Micro-credential if they:

  • Are at least 16 years old

  • Have basic computer skills and an interest in digital marketing

  • Hold NCEA Level 2 or equivalent evidence that they have the ability to succeed in the micro-credential

  • Students with English as a second language require IELTS 5.5 (General or Academic) with no band lower than 5.0.


Remote Learning Requirements
You will need a computer that has access to reliable internet, web cam and microphone.
