This programme is designed to build foundational skills, confidence, and self-awareness for learners re-engaging with education or seeking alternative learning pathways. It leads to the New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 2), with progression into Level 3 vocational programmes or entry-level roles under general supervision in sectors such as Hospitality, Trades, Sport, Health, Esports, and Primary Industries. Grounded in culturally responsive teaching and the Te Whare Tapa Whā wellbeing model, the programme reflects the identity and aspirations of Māori, Pacific, and other learners. It affirms Te Tiriti o Waitangi and supports equitable access, learner wellbeing, and future-focused outcomes.
