This qualification is designed for learners who have already undertaken some study in travel and tourism and want to obtain practical skills in hotel management and hospitality management, including marketing, financial management, customer service, and strategic leadership. This programme provides learners with functional management skills for a career in tourism, and is a pathway towards the Travel and Tourism Degree in just one additional year.

Domestic Students
All domestic applicants must:
Have a Level 5 qualification in travel or tourism
Have achieved a high level of attendance in previous courses
Note: an entry assessment may be required. This is to determine your ability to read and understand textbooks and your ability to write an essay.
International Students
All international applicants must:
Be a minimum of 18 years of age on day 1 of their course
Have completed Secondary School offshore, New Zealand Year 12 or have equivalent work experience
Have English language proficiency as outlined in the International Page on this website
