Become a competent employee in supervisory, trainee and junior management roles by developing industry relevant knowledge and skills. This programme is ideal if you are targeting a career in hospitality management or if you already have front-line hospitality service experience but are keen to take your career to the next level and progress into management.
The first half of the programme involves classroom based hospitality management modules, while in the second half you will expand your hospitality operations knowledge and skills through either a full-time internship (eligibility criteria applies) or campus based modules.
Students must:
You need to be 18 or older
Have completed the New Zealand Diploma in Hospitality Management Level 5, or New Zealand Diploma in Cookery (Advanced) Level 5, or relevant industry experience
If you are an international student, you must also have an English level of 6 IELTS or equivalent* with no band score lower than 5.5.
You must have travel and medical insurance and a valid visa.
* Other English Tests / evidence may be approved as advised by NZQA
