This qualification is designed for learners who wish to obtain introductory knowledge of different digital design practices - graphic design, film-making, interactive design and animation - before specialising in one area in further study. This programme supports learners to work out which creative media practice is right for them through practical learning, and is a pathway towards applying for one of Yoobee's Level 5 Diplomas.

Creative? But not sure what to study? Start here.

This course is available online as full-time, or part-time study, and has been especially designed to give you a taste of every digital design discipline to see where your passions lie. Over 20 weeks, you’ll try graphic design, film-making, animation and interactive design. You’ll be introduced to a range of industry software and learn photography, video creation and editing, web development, character development and even a bit of coding— it’s about finding your place in the creative world through experimentation and practical learning.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills you need to work out which creative path is right for you. Better yet, you’ll have developed a mini-portfolio with all the design assets you’ve created along the way. This is the perfect tool for applying for one of our Level 5 diplomas.
