This introductory programme enables learners to begin training towards a career in Early Childhood Education, and offers learners a broad base in practical and theoretical skills to progress into further study (Level 4 certificates in NZMA) or work experience.

The Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Level 3) will provide you with introductory skills and knowledge in the education and care of infants, toddlers and young children in Aotearoa/New Zealand. Work experience in an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Setting will introduce you to the practical skills and experience needed to prepare for a career in this industry.
