In this innovative new course, you’ll develop your skills in communication, leadership and problem-solving, all while learning all about the world of competitive esports. This practical course will give you an overview of the size and scope of the esports industry and an introduction to where your newfound confidence and skills could take you. You’ll volunteer at a real esports tournament, work on a fast-paced group project, create a practice tournament and grow your confidence, self-awareness and opportunities along the way. You’ll also get to spend time in our epic gaming studio, decked out with some of the best equipment available. We’ll get you out of the classroom to see some pathway options at our sister school Yoobee, and you’ll get to meet our Level 3 esports class to see how they do things.

Imagine learning through gaming! Our brand new course is taught in our new gaming lounge and you’ll build your confidence and skills while studying something you really love.

You'll learn about the size and scope of the competitive gaming industry, volunteer at a real esports tournament, work on a group project, create your own practice tournament and hang out in our epic new gaming lounge and play on some of the hottest gaming gear out there. You'll have loads of fun and get to study with people just like you.

We’ll get you out of the classroom to see some pathway options at our sister school, Yoobee College of Creative Innovation, and you’ll get to meet our Level 3 esports class to see how they do things.

After completing this course, you can keep learning more about the epic world of gaming in our Level 3 Introduction to Esports course.

YOUTH GUARANTEE
You can attend this course for free if you are aged 16-19 and meet the course entry requirements. This course is part of the government led Youth Guarantee Programme.

You can also get help with paying for travel to and from your course. This can all be sorted through Student Support.
