This programme enables learners to feel more confident about successful study at an under-graduate level, and allows learners to choose what they study in addition to the core subjects listed.

University Pathways
Students who successfully complete a Foundation Studies programme are guaranteed entry to an appropriate Victoria University of Wellington undergraduate degree.
The top student each term completing Foundation Studies receives a NZ$5,000 scholarship towards tuition fees in the first year of their undergraduate degree at Victoria University of Wellington.

Two offers of place from the start
Students who apply for the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation Studies Programme receive two offers of place: a letter of offer for Foundation Studies, and a conditional letter of offer for an undergraduate degree at the University. An unconditional offer of place is issued once you complete the programme and meet admission requirements.
Facilities
UP International College facilities include well equipped air-conditioned classrooms and computer laboratories and all students have access to the University library, learning centre and sports facilities.
