This qualification is designed for learners who want to get ready for under-graduate study at university, and learn important foundational skills like competency in academic english, reading, writing, referencing, core maths and sciences. This in-person programme enables learners to feel more confident about successful study at an under-graduate level, and guarantees successful learners an offer of study in an appropriate undergratuate programme at AUT.
Applying for the AUT Certificate in Foundation Studies is simple. Applications can be made in person at our UP International College Auckland campus, online, or by filling out a hard copy application form and emailing or posting it to us.
Intakes
The AUT Certificate in Foundation Studies takes 6 to 18 months (two to six terms) to complete, depending on the student’s academic background and level of English.
